I was recently made aware of my disappearance. Sorry bout that. Last week Paris Hilton graced Seoul, Korea with her graceful presence. I was upset that my students even knew about this until they told me Paris bought a dog here and named it 'Kimchi.' Shit, now I gotta love the girl. I'm sure it was just a clever P.R. move by one of her entourage but, still, she understands us little Koreans. North Korea is supposedly dismantling their nukes and Paris is the top news story here. I guess we're not that much different. Or maybe I should feel more shame that the US has infiltrated Korea to this extent. Well at least we got 711s and Rock N Roll bars.

I went to the APEC center here in Busan last week. A few years ago, leaders from all over the world met there and took pictures. It was hilarious to see Bush and Putin wearing Hanboks- Korea's traditional garb. Everyone left some present for Korea. We left a pen.

I know I haven't been using that cpu phone program very well. My computer is damaged beyond repair and I'm waiting to see if I'm offered another year-long contract before I buy a new desktop. I was hoping for some kind of meeting where we discuss my performance over the year but my co-workers tell me I'll just receive another contract in the mail. Oh well, they're paying me well for not alot of work. I can't complain.

I've set up a basketball league of sorts with the foreigners around here. It keeps me busy before work and keeps my mind off the Bulls. Unfortunately Canadians play D about as well as Ben Wallace rebounds. I'm going to need another apartment to store all these championships.

My next vacation is coming up in a little over a month. I wanted to be somewhere tropical over Xmas so I wouldn't miss home so much but I'm required to work an extra 3 weeks of my break for a lot of extra money. I think I'll use that money to go on a lengthy trip of southeast Asia. As of now I'm thinking Thailand, up through Loas, down Vietnam, into Cambodia and back. Most of it will be spent on the beach eating dirt-cheap meals and staying in 5$/a night bungalows. Hopefully I can find a cheap guitar and write the next great summer album. Oh, and I'll be careful to dodge the leftover landmines in Vietnam. :)

Alright, it's 10:00pm and I'm staying in tonight trying to fight off this cold. I'm gonna wake early and give our Bulls another chance. Hope everyone is doing well and please drop me some updates.
